There is beauty in the big city. It might not be as obvious to some, but it is very real to me. It never sleeps. And in never sleeping, it is always changing. So many people working and resting, crying and laughing, searching and wandering, living and dying. So many people in such a small area, yet the faces always change. I think of all these people as I stare out at the skyline. It is more beautiful at night. The edges become blurred, and the tall straight lines rise above the horizon like a masterpiece of modern art.
"Perigee" is a cityscape image by the water, that captures the beauty of the city skyline at night.
