Description: With the Looming Season piece you will find a more eerie, mystical approach, in contrast with many of Nicholas' other Landscape Artwork pieces. This piece features bare trees, stripped of their leaves for the cold seasons (similar to those of Winters Terrace). A full moon over a winding, swampy river caps off the dark, mysterious impression of this sculpture. Compare it to a similar style with the Docile Darkness sculpture. One of the amazing things about these landscape pieces is that you can give the viewer a different experience based on the focus of the light on the surface. This particular piece may look best with a lower-light, centralized to capture the curvature of the trees in a sort of tunnel-vision appearance.
