I reached my hand into the water and brought it to my mouth. I felt the pangs of thirst from my long morning walk abate as the ice cold water ran down my throat. It was all worth it. I settled down into my spot under the tree. I looked around, at the meandering stream and wide, empty landscape broken up by an occasional tree. There, over the water, met two trees, their branches reaching towards each other as if to say, "It's alright, I'm right here. This water cannot divide us."
This piece, "Reaching Out" is a beautiful landscape rendition.
