Description: 'Levitation' is a four-panel metal wall sculpture that is very unique and easily spotted among the other pure metal pieces in Nicholas' gallery. The reason for this is the deep, inter-weaving grind patterns that spider across the surface that give the metal a crunched or crumpled appearance. The artist's mastery of the grinder allows this seemingly wild design to come together in a beautiful scene. The two-by-two panel layout brings a sense of uniformity and structure to the piece.
