Conduction

Description: 4 Aluminum Panels. Overall Weight: Approx 12 lbs. 'Conduction' is one of a few of Nicholas Yust modern metal sculptures that features exclusively circular grind patterns (see also Sphere Morphology, Inter-Diffusion and Diffusion). This particular piece is laid out in 4 panels, in a 2 by 2 pattern. The circular patterns are made using a variety of grinding pads and textures. This gives the surface a multi-textural appearance and, of course, allows for variety in size of the cirlces.

Variations of the Conduction piece and the other circular-grind pieces are extremely popular all over the world. The combination of large circles and small dots appeals to the contemporary design of modern homes and businesses, but also adds life and personality to the room.
